Our extensive is based in the notion that contact improvisation forms a holistic cultural plaiting that clearly goes beyond any physical or emotional level of individual human action. By the effective technology of CI various fundamental ways of being in the world with others are being constituted that outreaches CI as physical dance form towards other domains of human existence that lacks no significance in areas traditionally classified under economics, politics, religion etc. In these perennial projects of CI far-reaching set of things are being build starting from new understanding of oneself to reconstructing self. This we do especially in the liminal space of CI-festivals in relation to other human beings as slow and barely visible yet fundamental continuous hermeneutical process trusting the good motives and the understanding of others. Is good to notice that CI is not directed towards any natural, organic or authentic ways of being in objective sense exceeding ontological level of human co-existence with its always present (power)relations. All this is to say we build ourselves and world surrounding us as we dance it and not until doing so we enter constructing the whole cosmos and its god(s) to be real. We can enter this creative cosmic dance either from the place of our own will consciously growing our understanding as beings with both body and mind or then we can sink into the world dominated by the will and goals – conscious of unconscious – of someone else.

In this extensive we ask profound questions of what kind of cosmos-building-process are we actually participating inside intense social fabric of CI-festivals and who is in charge?

We will use multidisciplinary approaches from various fields of science in order to reach new perspectives and wider understanding over the various fundamental projects of CI that people so kindly and easily invite us to join in festivals. We will work in the gentle guidance of the founder and honourable president of FSEHISCI* Mr Willie-Jo Handsome with the assistance of co-founder and Grand Master(Emeritus) of the same organisation Mr Laurito Von Jenzé combining the use of highly sophisticated theoretical instruments and perspectives with concrete sensomotorial experiments. By the use of these heuristic tools we enter into discussions over our lived experiences in the fleshy wonderworld of contact improvisation.
